I met Dr Iwane after recuperating from four knee surgeries. I came to find out that he had ten years of experience, meaning he is a very young doctor. Although he is friendly, he also comes off as a hypocrite. For example he pushes the flu shot and aspirin like a drug dealer would in the San Francisco tenderloin. As well he did not tell me he was testing me for drugs (I'm a MMJ patient). MMJ...

This office does not follow HIPPAA protocols and DR Gough spent a whopping 20 mins with me before diagnosing a major mental illness and prescribing medication. That seems a little irresponsible but what do I know, apparently Im crazy.

An awesome doctor for my husband who has numerous medical conditions in his young 50s. Very friendly, caring and trustworthy. He patiently listens and answers all questions and concerns. It's easy to get an appointment via Kaiser online or same day scheduling. It's a breeze to reach him too via email or leaving a message with his nurse; calls back that day. My laser surgery @ Surgical Suites went very well with Dr. Portis & an efficient staff to assist him in the preop & surgery. The Symfony lens was a good option for me as my vision has been corrected & I will finally not need to wear contact lens!
