Dr. Mandava is a thorough, compassionate caring doctor. He answers my questions explaining them in a way that is understandable to a lay person. I trust Dr. Mandava's opinion regarding the health of my eyes. He is an excellent opthalmologist.

Dr. Mandava is extremely competent in the field of macular degeneration. He is caring, concerned and excellent at explaining medical conditions. The staff is competent, courteous and respectful. I remember taking my sister in law to her appointments, she literally could not even see. I had to hold her hand and guided her. Dr. Mandava had done research and performed surgery on both her eyes and changed her life. Her children were very young, in grade school. She recently passed away after they graduated from college. I started with Dr. Mandava for a routine appt., he caught my retina was starting to detach before I was having symptoms (and then fixed it). I've since had some progressive eye degeneration and Dr. Mandava is doing what he can to help me keep my vision.
