Very fresh and tasty soul food in Freeport of all places. The staff was informal, attentive and friendly as well. Definitely try the fried fish (Basa), candied yams ad peach cobbler.

We are from Kentucky, visiting Sacramento. Had to try out this river cafe that bills itself as serving soul food. We were amazed! The four of us had fried chicken, smothered chicken, fried basa fish, and oxtails respectively - and each was delicious!
