I've seen her twice, honestly she is very cold/short with you, she doesn't gage much or give much insight she just goes in there types away at her computer, asks basic questions- may look at a few things with you but gives you the feeling of just being tired of doing her job and wanting to get it over with. She can also come off a little rude.

If I could give her negative stars, I would. Was diagnosed by ER Dr with a autoimmune disease, unfortunately my primary doctor referred me to Dr. Hovis. She is rude, did a look at my hands and said I don't have it. Seriously? While I sit in pain, still trying to get a new rheumatologist, however, she won't see me nor release me as patient. My wife began seeing Dr. Hovis in '06 for RA issues. Dr. Hovis did not monitor her properly while she was on methotrexate so recently she was diagnosed with Stage 4 liver disease because of the medicine. My mother has lived with fibromyalgia for 17+ years, and finally found something that helped her when she went to the hospital for cancer treatment.
