We had a nice peacful time here and great service. Everything that we ordered that we thought we might like exceeded our expectations. It is semi pricy but not to bad . Nice place for a date or anniversary dinner if your looking to splurge a little bit.
The view is probably good when you can actually see the river. The food is very average; service is on the slow side even though the restaurant wasn't even half full when we were there. The ambient is very nice, quieter than many places, and has live piano music.
We chose to go out on Thanksgiving and celebrate a 75th birthday, and we had a wonderful experience at the Riverview. Some in our group had never been there and thought it was a wonderful experience. This is my favorite restaurant for special dinners with my sweetheart! The waiters/waitresses are friendly, yet not obtrusive and the food is always top notch. Additionally, their brunches are nicely displayed and sooo tasty! Make your reservations early. ?
