This place is right next to the NOC, and if you are in the area you know there are not many dining options. I really enjoy coming here. They have 10 or so craft beers on tap, most local or regional. They have many more in bottles. It overlooks the river and is a great place to relax after a busy day on the trail or river. The hours in the off season (starting in October) are a little weird. We are frequent visitors to River's End Restaurant. The food is always delicious and the atmosphere is fun! Love dining along the river. You must try the pizza! If pizza isn't for you, the Wesser Burger and the Nantahala Gorge are excellent choices as well.

This restaurant has a great view of the river. The menu has a lot of selection, but I thought it was little bit high priced for lunch hours.

We visited and was suprised!! The service and food was top notch! In our group we had, trout cake, fried trout sandwich, chicken salad and chicken Philly cheese steak sandwich, tater tots and fries!!! Tater tots and fries were prepared perfectly!!! Try to get a window seat or you can sit outside. We watched the rafters and kayaks go down...

The food is always good, and the view from every table is awesome! Always fun to sit and watch the rafters and kayakers on the water while eating and having a cold beer!

Every seat is a riverside seat at River's End, one of four restaurants at the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Since 1972, the restaurant has been serving Appalachian Trail hikers, competitive paddlers and everyone in between with such favorites as the Big Wesser Burger, Sherpa Rice and the cool jewel. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
