The local River Valley Ranch mushroom mavens are behind this Ravenswood market vending everything from meats, cheeses and condiments to pickles and produce (including a variety of mushrooms). Patrons can also sit down to a "farmer’s table" meal in the in-house cafe for breakfast, lunch or early dinner. P.S. It's BYOB.
I recently had the chance to try a new line of high quality grass fed beef from PRE Beef, a Chicago-based company changing the retail beef game. PRE Beef is sourced from New Zealand and they claim it is the freshest and highest quality beef in the grocery store. The brand uses a 15 step quality control checklist ensuring you always get the top 10% of the beef cuts available globally.

First Impressions are important and this place didn't start well. I took a seat, after asking if it was okay, and it took a little more than 15 minutes for anyone to bring us a menu. Once we did order, service was a tad slow, and the place was not all that busy.

You can taste how fresh and healthy their food is. The ravioli was amazing.
Great food made with care, but I just wanted to say "Thanks!" on here for their service: I've had a broken ankle for the last two months and I let every delivery person know since I need them to come up the stairs. RVFT is the first one in two months to add a note with well wishes for a speedy recovery (and added a cookie too). You're good people, River Valley!
