The food at Rio's is delicious! Big selection, reasonable prices and reminds us of the Mexican restaurants we frequented in So. California where we moved from.

The outside could use some sprucing up as visually it's not very appealing, however once inside we were promptly seated, given menu's and asked what we would like to drink. It's your typical Mexican Menu - I ordered one of the combo plates (Relleno and Enchilada) and requested a pork chili tamale instead of the Relleno - which they accomodated...

Lets start by talking about the Décor, Dark, full of little lights, piñatas, streamers and pictures all over the wall. Usually I would love it but it does feel a little bit dark and dirty. The entire place just makes me feel a little unclean, tables are sticky, menus are sticky etc.

Went to Rio Boarder on a Saturday night. Restaurant was packed. Got seated quickly. Only two of us... Order was not taken for 1/2 hours and food did not arrive for one hour. Portions were small but tasty. I would probably not go back!!!! Sorry but we were just in Cancun and this place does not even come close....
