Had this company install a basic alarm system in my house when it was built. At the time, I chose not to sign up for monitoring. Now its 7 years later and I found a company that will do the monitoring for $9 per month. However they are not able to setup my system because Rimi locked it with their installer code. So I called to get that code and was told that they don't give that number out for security reasons. I then asked if they would send someone out and change it for me so they don't have to give me that code. They said no. They will not change the code even if I pay for the...

Poor service, poor product

We have had a Rimi installed security system for 20 years. Due to a total failure of the system (or so we thought), Rimi suggested a complete replacement. Seemed reasonable with a 20 year old unit. However, since the new unit was installed, we have had nothing but problems. To date, we are not convinced that there was anything really wrong with the old unit, but wiring and other issues. We have had to repolace sensors, a transformer, and we have had multiple false alarms, the last one resulting in the local fire department ripping the alarm horn out of the front of the house causing...
