us out!

The Rickshaw Stop is one of the best-kept secrets in the city's club scene. While the club has cheaper admission prices than most of its competitors, the Ricshaw Stop still manages to pull in an eccentric range of renowned musical acts, such as Grimes, Katy B, Jonathan Richman, The Mooney Suzuki, and The Pippettes. Even though the Rickshaw Stop has a full bar (and an impressive one at that),...

Baby-toting parents (there’s a happy hour just for them), unpublished writers, skinny mop-top boys in bands. They all call this cavernous rec room home, at least for a cocktail or three. Small stage books small-time talent. Fall into one of the plush couches with a Big Olé (Rockstar and vodka) and chow down on the corn dog special. Foosball table, smoking room, and, yes, rickshaws.

Electro-indie-grrrl-pop bands, amateur burlesque groups and greasy haired hipster kids pounding corn dogs and Fat Tires? Just an average night at this Civic Center club.

For all-ages venues, this city offers slim pickings--fortunately, the under-21 crowd can enjoy live music and DJ'd dance nights at this Civic Center club, while those who are of age won't feel...

Rickshaw Stop is a 4000 square-foot (including 1000 sq ft mezzanine) former TV studio, with full bar and food service. Epic live music-inspired dance frenzies take place regularly at this 18 and up club's location in San Francisco. Home of the Thursday night Popscene party, Rickshaw Stop is set in an enormous former TV studio outfitted with dramatic red curtains and a perfectly-sized dance floor. Upstairs, a mezzanine decorated with vintage rickshaws offers cozy couches overlooking the stage. Affordable prices...
