Rick's Bakery is great. I don't know why people are negative. The food is good here--mostly a bakery and has excellent pastries. Mirabelle--another successful place in Urbana has similar items and is higher priced--Also, Mirabelle doesn't bake quite a few items that they "make"--"their baker" somewhere else does make a lot of their items--I was told by people that work there. What a find and a treasure! Everything is wonderful and the people are friendly and helpful. The kids like us to pick up the hot croissants for lunch and picnic with them at Meadowbrook park.

It's no Mirabelle.. Let's be real here. This place is not bad but it is seriously no Mirabelle. I moved closer to Rick's so every now and then I'll grab something and half the time it's not good. Mirabelle NEVER disappoints.
