Richard's Bar

The "drinks are strong", the "people real" and the "year hard to discern" at this "real-thing" River West "dive", the "friendliest secret place in the city" with a "rockin' jukebox" and sometimes "wild" weekend scene; the few who fail to see its charms ("forgettable") are easily outvoted.

Awesome dive bar. However, since it's one of the only bars that allows smoking, the vast majority of everyone smokes inside. I even saw people smoking cigars inside. Every time I go, I need to wash everything I'm wearing. Perfect bar if you're a smoker. Nightmare if you hate cigarettes.

If you want cheap drinks, a real experience, and buzzing atmosphere then this is your place. Not a place to take your date, but for a group of 30 somethings on a cheap night out then worth a visit as part of a pub crawl.
