THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Rhapsody Restaurant Review: Rhapsody has had a number of chefs over the years; with Dean Zanella (Aldino’s, 312 Chicago) in the kitchen, it has clearly hit its stride. This gracious restaurant borders on being swank with its white tablecloths, candles and elegant tableware, and it has one of the loveliest seasonal patios citywide. Small plates are quite alluring---snag...
Expectations are admittedly lower when it comes to dining options in the Loop, which is even more reason to get excited about a restaurant refresh. Located in the former Rhapsody space, Tesori brings a Mediterranean and Italian twist to the menu, with dishes like a lobster club or rib eye burger for lunch and cavatelli with braised beef cheeks or branzino with pistachio crust for dinner. Prefer...
This fine-dining restaurant inside Symphony Center (with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking an outdoor dining area and a small park) is a hit with the concert-going crowd, as much for the setting as for the food. In the summer, the restaurant's outdoor garden is a mini-oasis of flowers and greenery, definitely the most charming outdoor dining spot in the Loop. (You still have to contend with...
The SceneThis open, crowded room buzzes with a mature mix of business and pre-symphony diners. It's a sophisticated space, with walls of windows, tall, comfortable booths and an...
A really pleasant surprise for pre-concert dining. Friends and I had passed on it many times, because it looked crowded and too expensive. However, when we did try it, we were pleasantly surprised. Service was excellent and attentive, the dinner selections were good and enjoyable, and our concert was a short walk down the hall. Do make reservations, especially weekend nights. We'll go there...
Great place before event at Symohony Hall - quick service with dependably good food.
Convenient location for pre and post concerts and matinee. The menu is OK but nothing special as the service. Our waiter was kind but there were two others that seemed anodized by my children (pretty well behaved children, used to go to any kind of restaurant).
Came from out of town to watch the symphony ( Vivaldi). What an excellent way to start the evening. Arrived at Tesori about an hour and a half prior to curtain call. Excellent wait staff, drinks on time, checked back ofeten but not obtrusive to keep moments with a friend I love dearly private. Cuisine was excellent and we split dishes along with some select appetizers. Perfect setting. Don'...
Delicious food, wonderful waitstaff, near symphony and Art Institute, very pleasant decor. Had a great time!

tesori is an Italian-Inspired restaurant, bar & lounge.
Casual Italian eatery - although the prices are a bit high. We sampled the lasagna ($17) and also the ravioli - both were excellent. Great selection of wine and beer. They do have a few wines on tap, but the reds were a bit chilly for our tastes. Nice atrium to the side on the east. A great place for lunch, highly recommended. They are working to convert the bar the more of a whisky / bourbon...
