Revel Restaurant Review

A wide open kitchen and bright portraits on the walls greet diners, welcoming them for tastes of everything from po' boy-inspired pancakes to candied bacon. The menu combines Korean and American cuisines, yielding dishes that are inventive and flavor-packed. The dining room offers seating at traditional tables, but to really keep track of the action, settle in at the large butcher block-style...

The Essential 38 Seattle Restaurants, July 2014

It's time to update the Eater 38, the answer to any question that begins, "Can you recommend a restaurant?" Every quarter, we'll be adding pertinent restaurants that were omitted, have newly become eligible (restaurants must be at...

Came here one evening for drinks with a friend! I've only been to it's counterpart, Revel, so this was my first time in. I really enjoyed the ambiance of...

Always love this place. Small, connected to Revel but a nice intimate spot on its own. Nice small patio with fire pit. The drinks are solid, although could...

Finally able to try the ramen (they only make 10 per day) and got a Korean pancake with porkbelly. Food here is cooked by revel. The ramen broth was...

In honor of the Seahawks’ Superbowl victory, I’m reviewing a delicious and trendy Seattle restaurant in this post. Revel is located in Fremont, the Seattle neighborhood that claims it’s the “Center of the Universe.” From the iconic troll lurking under the Aurora Bridge to the statue of Lenin standing in the town square, Fremont is a funky neighborhood that is full of surprises. It’s one of my...

GOD I love this place. I swear if I could, I'd just eat this all the time. I typically go for rice bowls but I've tried other selections on the menu. I especially enjoy being on the counter and...

Corned lamb mizuna salad, pork belly kimchi pancakes, short rib rice bowl, dan dan noodles, monkey bread, toasted barley iced tea, Wakatake Onikoroshi Nigori sake, order it all and thank me later. No reservations but worth the wait for lunch, brunch or dinner.

Close your eyes and point to something on the menu and chances are it will be great. But please don't pass up the dumplings.

No reservations taken but its worth the wait! Amazing flavors of Korean food using NW ingredients. It's easier to get on at lunch.

Revel is aptly named as the food & beverage program do just that every time I've been. Food with finesse and flavor make it one of my favs!

So many excellent options on this seasonally changing lineup featuring elevated Korean street food: pan-fried dumplings, a dazzling corned lamb salad, deeply satisfying ramen. But the short rib rice bowl is a must-try, a beautifully composed blast of color and flavor. Mix the raw egg yolk in with the grilled beef and spicy mustard greens. Crank up the fire with the house-made pepper sauces.
