lots of busy employees but food prep time is still very slow. Laid back, diner style, Asian Hawaiian food. Sure to fill your belly and put you to sleep under a tree somewhere.

Sometimes ,when you least expect it , you find a local treasure.
I was out on a day trip with a seniors group of 27 people for a day of fun in Hilo town. That's three large van loads of fixed income ,picky individuals , who were hungry after a tour of the Wailoa art gallery.

The food and service is great there. Very friendly and your food comes to your table pretty quickly. The "BROOKIE" is a must try!!! To me it is one of my favorite desserts out there. I love eating here!!!

another restaurant that serves Korean chicken, chicken katsu, ramen, etc. I think 70% of restaurants in Hilo have the same menu items. But the boneless Korean chicken was pretty good, crispy and sweet. The Korean chicken salad was a good size portion.
