Standard Residence Inn - very good / clean. They are modernizing the lobby area. Rooms are clean / very comfortable beds. Staff is very helpful / pleasant. Plenty of free parking. Worth trying it, if you're in the area. I think it's better than the other local places

We stayed here for 2 nights while at a nearby soccer tournament. The staff was very friendly upon check-in. Our room was larger than expected, which was nice. Everything was clean - except that we found a baby rattle under the pull out couch. The breakfast was nice and had a good variety of foods. We would definitely stay here...

They are in the process of a major renovation to all of the rooms, with a completion in March 2016. Rooms are spacious, quiet, and clean.
Convenient to restaurants, shopping and other activities in the greater Kansas City area.
Breakfast is included and is typical to most Residence Inns, as well as food in the early evening.

Room had a nice fireplace

Very nice surprise when I walked in my room. A fireplace. It was nice to move my work area from the desk to the couch by the fire. Room was clean. Full kitchen. I was there for 3 nights and really felt at home. Had a nice reception each evening with Tacos one day and hamburgers the next.
