Rescue  wants in on the eco-train, so they throw in the word “recycle” here and there, but they don’t really care what you do with those ancient boot-cut Gap jeans. That said, the store is lazy hipster heaven: gently-worn skinny jeans and funky tees line the walls—the thrift store slag has been exorcised. Marc Jacobs, Helmut Lang and Topshop meet Rescue’s standards, but don’t try to pawn off...

Rescue sells (and trades) vintage clothing for men and women.  Its cozy and friendly, and jam-packed with their ever evolving stock of merchandise.  They've recieved a great deal of publicity from the likes of the Boston Globe and the Weekly Dig.  Their store-front confidently proclaims itself to possess the "best selection of vintage T-shirts on Newbury Street."
