It is unfair that a person who takes baths in a 5 gallon bucket instead of using the tub and spills huge amounts of water on the floor that causes the sub floor to swell damaging the vinyl can write a negative review. Her contractor was contacted about the situation immeadiatly and we were told that they would handle the situation. There are two sides to every story.
I can't believe some of the other feedback I'm reading. I wonder if they are all employees, their relatives or others associated WITH this business.
I had a TERRIBLE experience with them. They laid the floors in my new house and the bathroom floors (vinyl) began peeling away within 8 months of us moving in! The contractor who built this house put me in touch with a 'Don'. He came to the house ONE DAY on Jan 7, 2008 and promised to return soon. Well, it's Feb 1, 2008 today and I am yet to hear from him. I called them EVERY DAY in Jan, 2008, never got Don on the line and was always asked by the person answering the phone to leave a message!
We will end our warranty in April and I think they are hoping for our warranty to expire so they can charge an arm and a leg to replace our poorly laid floors.
This company is a SCAM. Take it from a suffering customer. Flooring is competitive business, take yours elsewhere.

I had done so much shopping for flooring by the time I got to Anthony Interiors my head was spinning. When I left there I felt confident that had made the right choice and at a great value. I had been to all of the big name flooring centers and I felt I was just getting pushed into what they wanted to sell me. The owner made me feel very comfortable right from the start, was very knowledgeable, didnt try to "sell" me anything, and answered all my questions. Now I have beautiful flooring in my living room. When its time for the kitchen Im going back for flooring and countertops. Great place, glad I found it.

I highly recommend.....that you do not use San Jose's Anthony Interior for any of your flooring needs. While the proprietor is tolerable, the installers are intolerable, rude and completely insensitive to the homeowner. The installers provided continually incorrect and/or changing direction regarding the need to remove or move furniture for carpet installation (causing the homeowner unecessary effort to move items), then smirkly lied when confronted with their conflicting statements. Walls, doors and door jambs are either marked or otherwise damaged needed remedial painting or repairs. ...
There are many flooring stores in San Jose. Many offer deals, and great prices. Avoid Anthony;s interiors or Remnant World Inc. at all costs. They are completely customer un-friendly. And the are also completely unethical. The business owner is a know it all whos knows less than half of what he thinks he does. The peddle 1 year old bamboo flooring and say its better than older bamboo, WARNING SIGN.
Do not shop here, go to home depot, or if you like mom and pops, try another shop.
