Don't waste your time and energy going to this ER. The wait is really long, especially if you have private insurance. Perhaps they need to charge for a full day to pay their own salaries. Sounds like insurance fraud to me. Patients walked in and out. It is expected to treat the most severe cases first; however this is not the case. Just walked out and won't return. Had a sudden onset of extreme pain in both arms and upper left chest. When I arrived I was greeted promptly then sent to waiting room. A few minutes later I was called by the nurse who kept telling me that I was being vague when describing my symptoms. Rolled to EKG then to a "monitoring" room where I laid for nearly 5 hours and only kept getting vague...

After haveing a simple surgery to to fix a pinched nerv in my lower lumbar regionmy life changed. Extreme pain caused my return to medical center, where x-rays and MRI were ordered. I have to say that this is one of the finest hospitals that I have ever been to. My brother was flown here and was a patient here for a few days. He was not expected to live, so we decided that he should be an organ donor. The staff here was so compassionate, caring and so supportive.
