In ShortThis little store can spruce up an abode in many ways. Hefty, cracked candles, traditional Chinese urns or sculptures of half-smiling men could dramatically top off one of the antique tables. Silk pieces include decorative and fluffy, colorful pillows--square- or cylinder-shaped-and silk jackets with rope latches, fur edging and traditional side slits. The Berkeley location holds more early to late 19th-century Chinese furniture pieces, as well as an impressive Buddha collection, while the San Francisco location holds bulky anitque furniture and large candles.

Red Lantern is an antique furniture and home accessories store that focuses on fine Asian designs. Only open on Saturdays and by appointment, this small store has many treasures, including vintage and antique tea sets, old framed documents, beautiful, heirloom-quality Buddhas. The stock changes frequently, and the workers here are very helpful with questions and knowledgeable of their stock.
