I've been to several RV parks around Houston. Red Dot RV Park is the closest, least expensive, and best value I have found. WONDERFUL staff, including maintenance man who is easily accessible. Manager and owner very friendly. A quiet place, has wifi, showers, laundry, allows pets but is maintained, 3 miles to the airport but never heard a plane! also lots to do in the area (restaurants, shopping, etc.)

i will be back!
