Spacious multileveled lounge and dining areas, dim lighting, an earthy look and an olive tree rising through the first floor ceiling welcomes you at Rayuela. Estilo Libre Latino (Freestyle Latino) cuisine is served here albeit with a delicate twist. Lobster ceviche and the baked red snapper are showstoppers! Classic dishes like paella, churrasco are exquisitely prepared. Sensational cocktails,...
Rayuela introduces the first-of-its kind Estilo Libre Latino (freestyle Latino) cuisine, which respects yet redefines Latin American and Spanish cuisines. While the basic structure of traditional dishes will be maintained, the actual ingredients may be unconventional and may come from over a dozen Latin American countries including Peru, Mexico, Cuba, Colombia, as well as Spain.
At first, diners can’t help but feel that the owners behind this spot are playing children’s games. It’s not just that the name means “hopscotch” in Spanish, but the tri-level setting feels somewhat like a glorified tree house. An olive tree even grows right through the middle of it, stretching from the clubby ground floor lounge up to the second floor dining room, where sheer drapes flow...

One of my favorite date spots closed! What I going to do?
Loved the food, ambiance and conversation with our waitress. Our late dinner (close to 11 PM) was great fun.
in Spanish, Rayuela invites skipping around the menu to sample a host of South American specialities. Heavy on the pork and seafood, they have some of the best of both we have had in a long time. Appetizers are plentiful and many may be new to us anglos, but they're worth it.
Awesome food and staff friendly.

Rayuela (Spanish for "hopscotch" and the title of the experimental novel by South American writer Julio Cortázar) introduces Estilo Libre Latino(Freestyle Latino) cuisine, which respects yet redefines traditional Latin American and Spanish dishes including ceviche and tapas.
Dubbed freelance Latino cuisine, the menu at this funky eatery is eclectic and tantalizing, from the blue point oysters with cilantro and bacon, to the free range chicken with coconut ginger reduction. The decor is rustic with modern flourishes and the deluxe restrooms downstairs are worth a visit.

Try signature cocktails like Coming Up Roses ($12), made with rose water, lime, raspberry rum and champagne with rose petal floaters.
Brunch includes two courses for $16.95, and live music sets a spirited soundtrack.
The outdoor terrace on the second floor makes a cool, cozy summertime spot.
The downstairs lounge serves food until midnight on weeknights, and 2am on Friday and Saturday.
