I was charged $41.99 for a Hitch ball repair kit that ranges from $6 - 8; I was charged $21.99 for a 7-way RV replacement connector that costs $5.21. I was charged $76 for $14 worth of parts - gee, maybe the price of electrical tape has skyrocketed? The estimate for work was $140, which seemed high for replacing the ball kit, adding a new connector, to longer wires, and reattaching the existing brake lite, but I agreed to it. When I showed up to pick up the utility trailer, the bill was $233.26. According to the "book of work" they all go by to bill hours, it should have taken 45 minutes to do everything they did, I was charged for 2 hours of labor. Either they're incompetent or they're gouging me - oh, wait a minute, both of those are BAD!!! Ray thinks he can take advantage of a senior citizen, what he doesn't know is that I've had trailers for 45 years. When I questioned him about the bill, the idiot doubled-down on looking me in the eye and lying!! I left Ray's and went to a shop I trust, they confirmed I had been overcharged by at least $100. Stay away from Ray's!!!!
