This place is awesome I always get the tonkatsu minus the bean sprouts and 2+ eggs ;) the noodles are thin and delicious and the broth is especially delicious add a little chili sauce provided in the dish on the table and life is good.

Tonkatsu Ramen. I've always been eating their tonkatsu ramen.. but I've came here recently and OMG.. what happened to the tonkatsu ramen quality!? The soup came out COLD!!! This has never happened to me before and not only that.. the other time, my waitress *it was lunch hour so yes it gets pretty busy* was the only one serving everyone.. but she got my frickin order WRONG!! And I had to pay...

If you like Japanese style "Katsu" dishes you owe it to yourself to eat here. Their "hiyashi chuuka", cold noodles with julienned ham, roast pork, carrots and cucumber an a little ginger and hot mustard on the side for zest is as good as many such relative dishes I have had in Japan. Decor is Korean chic/funk and worth a visit in and I itself as is te wry expressive welding art on the walls....

Super cute and trendy! Definitely not your typical Japanese style ramen-ya in Japan with bar stool, elbow-to-elbow seating, but instead cute, comfortable and trendy. For those that want the real Japanese experience, there's an entire middle table that extends the length of the dining area-great for parties, or if you prefer to sit like that instead of the booths/open seating area. It's obvious...

I thought it was okay.. After reading other reviews here, I was hesitant to try this ramen-ya, but I finally stopped in for lunch as it is very convenient to the H-Mart on Pleasant Hill Rd.
