I used to love this store in Springfield. Now most of the girls they have at the register are so concerned with discussing their personal lives with each other they barely acknowledge you and then when you ask them to add something to the ticket to pick up outside half the time they don't even listen and then you have to go back in and ask again! It's definitely gone down hill...

I went in right before Christmas and ask if they had any more Christmas cards. I was told no of which I figured they probably didn't no problem. My problem was as I walked away I overheard maybe I should go to Wal-Mart instead if I wanted more cards. I have never had decent treatment in the Monett store but let me assure you every man who walked in has.

Love this place, my wife hates it (she does not like anything hardware related, it's a guy thing). Great top quality products; Stihl, Cub Cadet, Husqvarna, etc. Very knowledgeable staff. They have virtually everything you need for farm and outdoor home supplies.

I am beyond finding words for my experience at the Monett Race Brothers this afternoon. My daughter and I entered the store to look at boots for her when a young employee came up to me and told me the store has a new policy and said that my bag (purse) was to large and I could not take it to the store.
