Quinn's Pub Restaurant Review

The vintage building housing Quinn's Pub gives as much weight and intricacy to the restaurant as the food and drink menus. The downstairs area has a boisterous vibe, while the mezzanine features a more sedate atmosphere. For the snack-minded, bites like the spiced bacon caramel corn or salt cod fritters pair well with drinks and conversation. Salads and sandwiches are also available. Among the...

This Capitol Hill American gastropub "sets the bar high", with midpriced "gourmet food" and a "broad array of brews" to match; the "down-to-earth staff" provides "fast service" even on busy nights, and the "über-hip crowd" contributes to the "great vibe" in the somewhat "industrial" space.

Located in a vintage 1910 building, this lively spot was opened by Scott and Heather Staples, owners of Belltown's Restaurant Zoe. Quinn's offers a boisterous vibe downstairs and a more sedate atmosphere on the mezzanine. For the… Read More

Capitol Hill's coolest gastropub has friendly bartenders, an amazing selection of beers from all over the world on tap (with the West Coast and Belgium heavily represented), an extensive list of whiskey, and an edgy menu of quite good food, which you can enjoy at the long bar or at a table on either of the two floors of the industrial-chic space. Spicy fried peanuts, baby lettuces in sherry...

Patterned after the much-lauded gastropubs of London, Quinn's is the second Seattle restaurant for local kitchen legend Scott Staples, whose Restaurant Zoë is one of my favorite Belltown eateries. This place is casual and boisterous, but the food, made from top ingredients, is great, and the beer list, heavy on Belgian beers, is one of the best in the city. If you're looking for simple comfort...

I was assaulted here by the bouncer on New Year's Eve. I arrived at 9:30, had my ID checked at the door, and went downstairs and drank a single vodka and orange juice that I finished by 10. At 11:40, my boyfriend and I came upstairs, he went outside to smoke and I started heading to the bathroom. The bouncer asked for my ID, and I told him that I already had my ID checked and that I had been...

We were treated terribly at this establishment. I would give it a zero if that was an option.I'm still too angry to properly write my review. Will do so soon.

The atmosphere is really dark. It's down in a basement and you probably won't get cell service.

Business description (3)

Quinns- scott and heather staples (owners of restaurant zoe) new gastrobub located at 10th and pike on capital hill. Our menu features slow roasted pork ribs, pan roasted idaho trout, fish and chips and a great burger. We have 14 beers on tap-including several trappist ales - and of course a full bar.

Dark wood accents, floor-to-ceiling windows and a comfortable bar distinguish the interior of this striking two-level space. Sibling to Restaurant Zoe, the pub delivers interesting beers and scrumptious gourmet cooking in a casual atmosphere. Try a wagyu beef burger with cheddar, bacon and fries or an order of tasty fish and chips.

Tips about this business (4)

Parking: Street parking can be hard to find; the closest garage is at Harvard Market, entrance on Broadway between Pike and Union.

Know Before You Go: The menu is slanted heavily toward meat and cheese, making it a tough choice for vegetarians and nearly impossible for vegans.

Where to Sit: The big communal table is a friendly after-work stop; upstairs offers a bit more privacy for a longer meal or a larger group.

What to Drink: Fourteen beers on tap, a long list of wines by the glass and a nicely varied list of house cocktails will please almost everyone--but don't look for any happy hour pricing.
