"Quick-witted" publicans pull "superb" drafts and dish up "melt-in-your-mouth" Sunday roast, fish 'n' chips and other inexpensive forms of "traditional" British "comfort" at this Atlas District tavern; an "Old English" vibe pervades the dark-wood digs, and there's an attached tuck shop selling imported staples like McVitie's and Ribena.

I recently met a number of friends for dinner and drinks at The Queen Vic. The place is rather small, but cozy. Lots of English and Scottish beers and ales on tap. One only wishes that they were served in the English style, at room...

Stopped by for dinner. We had fish & chips and the Shepard's Pie--both were very good. The portions were very large--one order could feed two people. Service good and very nice atmosphere. Lively but not too noisy.

The portions are ample. We had among us,...

Nice place with family or friends. Food is good honest eating and I would say around 15 dollars average. Good beer selection. We always come back to Q Vic's and Joe does an excellent job taking care of us.

Business description (4)

When Ryan Gordon married his British wife, he promised to love, honor, cherish her etc but mainly to pander to her every need. Despite his best efforts, nothing he did or said could make up for the huge gap that was left in her life after leaving the UK – a good local pub with loads of beer and delicious food– so after a bit of research, plenty of dinner dates, a couple of bar fights and...
