Editorial reviews from the web (5)

This impressive example of 20th-century cruise ship opulence is the last of its kind. And there's a saying among staff members that the more you get to know the Queen Mary, the more you realize she has an endearing personality to match her wealth of history. The beautifully preserved art deco–style ocean liner was launched in 1936 and made 1,001 transatlantic crossings before finally berthing...

We were arriving in LA a day early for our cruise and found the Queen Mary while looking for accommodations. There was no further looking required. We had to stay there. We arrived by taxi from LAX and the cost was well within the price suggested on the website. You take the elevator to the promenade deck for check in...

Our family tried Easter Brunch for the first time since the grandchildren are now 4 and 2. We had a great time. The staff were wonderful and the food was very good. Also the children ate free. Would definitely recommend.

WE came from England and booked the tour including the boiler room especially to visit my dads workplace from the 1960's so very disappointed that when we arrived for the tour it was cancelled (no refund - only an exchange of no interest to us offered). We may never have the chance again!
On the positive the rest of the...
