What the community has to say about Queen Anne Cafe

Information about this business (1)

Situated to the northwest of Downtown, Queen Anne is a neighborhood named after the architectural style the city's early elite built their homes in. This neighborhood is where the Seattle Center , probably best known for housing the Space Needle , is located. However, if sightseeing is not what you're interested in, the neighborhood's retail potential should definitely impress you. You can shop...

Homey dining that fits the Queen Anne neighborhood to a T.

The Scene
Crowds at Sunday brunch attest to the cafe's popularity, while the modest, approachable menu speaks to its accessibility. Warm, sponge-painted walls and silver mica lamps evoke...

Stopped here for breakfast today. Tried the California omelette with fruit and sourdough toast. The omelette was very tasty. The fruit was sliced fresh but was served with the rind or peel still on. This was unique in my experience but didn't present a huge problem. The toast was sort of typical for most …

I am giving it a 4 star as they do most things well and have been a staple of the community. But, I want the owners to read this. A vegetable omelette does not mean a ton of Avocados and no other vegetables and a Ton of cheese. Dude you have to have to some onions, peppers and tomatoes. Please use those in the omelette. If you don't I am coming back and will give you a one star!

I went here three times with friends for breakfast over a period of four weeks. The Specials listed at the front were (1) the same every time, (2) actually on the menu, and (3) more expensive than the prices for the same item on the menu. The first time I ordered a Virgin Bloody Mary that took so long it was …

How I heard of this place: A good friend of mine, and a United States Navy Veteran raves about the Veteran's Day deal (free breakfast) each year. This year, I had the opportunity to join him and our significant others for a Veteran's Day breakfast. Type of cuisine: A diner with everything from country-fried steak on …

The breakfast was not good. The hashbrowns had absolutely no flavor. I got the blueberry pancakes and couldn't taste the blueberries. It was also very dirty. Our table was sticky and had a few hairs on it. One star is for the location it's a great place to walk around. We won't be back.

Business description (4)

Nick came from Greece about a million years ago, with zero restaurant experience and even less English skills. He now owns several fine eateries, and is still often seen greeting the regulars at Queen Anne Cafe on busy Sunday mornings.

Come to Queen Anne Cafe for delicious food, awesome service, and an inviting atmosphere!

A modern style upscale diner that serves standard fare with extra flair in private, comfortable mahogany booths upholstered in leather. At breakfast, try the popular Russian omelette. Lunch specials run from grilled snapper to hot open faced sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy. At dinner go upscale with the chicken marsala or stay basic with the delicious broiled pork chops. What to Drink: Add a milk shake to the meal. Sure they're filling, but they're worth every creamy calorie.
