"The more people in your party to share dishes, the better" at this "hip", "always crowded" River North Italian where "authentic", "way-above-average" "big and little bites" (including "wonderful house-cured meats"), "many wine options" by the carafe and "genuinely good" service "completely outweigh" the "astounding noise"; the "rustic" bi-level environs can get "tight", but prices are "so...
Quartino Restaurant Review: The folks behind Gibsons Steakhouse have done it again with this comfortable, noisy, Italian small-plates concept. The group-friendly dining room, which is separated by archways and features hodgepodge table settings, fills with a professional, loft-dwelling crowd that heads straight for the in-house prepped salumeria selections (try the delicate ribbons of duck...
It seems like anything these guys get their hands on turns to gold. They've had much success with Viagra Triangle-located siblings Gibson's, Hugo's and Luxbar, and now this bustling enoteca keeps a post-work energetic vibe until last call. Get ready for a swinging singles scene and a lot of awkward first dates. The dining room is just as busy as the wine bar, as it packs em in for...

Best chicken soup ever.
Phenomenal service! We asked the manager about an item that used to be on their menu years ago. To my surprise the manager had the kitchen make us the dish because I said it was a favorite of mine years ago! We'll definitely be back!
The place was packed when we walked in and we had to wait about 10 minutes for our reservation to be called, but it was well worth the wait! The food was authentic and delicious. The service was wonderful...we could not have had a friendlier server and the management checked on us multiple times throughout the night. It was a bit noisy and quite cramped, but we got a decent table for the two of...
I've always loved this place - great for booking groups as they have plenty of seating and bring dishes out that are meant to be shared. The house made Ricotta w honey and Short Ribs are a must. I've recently moved to a low carb diet and was pleased to find several options available even though this is an Italian place.
Overall, a very enjoyable evening. We ordered 4 plates to share between the two of us - the first two were just OK - the Brussel sprout salad was a little too raw/strong for our taste. The Polenta fries (as others have reported), were pretty bland, but a good carrier for the pepper sauce. However, the linguini with clams were outstanding - buttery clams - great pasta. The last dish was the...
