When I first joined The Provident Bank, I was thrilled with their Smart Checking account programs with a decent interest rate for completing reasonable tasks and their pleasant tellers initially. The Worst Bank

I have multiple business account with the Provident Bank. They have the worst customer service. They have nonsense rolls. I deposit cash at the Bank at 4:45 pm, but they put it in my account the next day so they can charge me an overdraft fee .

I have many different types of accounts with Provident, and I've had nothing but good experiences here. You can't go wrong with Smart checking accounts that refund all your ATM fees and you get 1.5% interest on your balances under $15,000. Best of all, I have yet to pay a single fee for anything. I have been using this bank for over 10 years. I always had good experience with the walk ins. However, they gave me nothing but grief when I tried to use their online services. They blocked my debit card several times without any warnings because I tried to buy flight tickets from a foreign airline company online. So, sometime in 2013 I went to Provident on 26th street to change my address. The teller sat there on her ass typing away for 20 minutes and I thought she was actually doing something.
