Kim & Ryan (the owners) worked with us to host a private party for our family reunion in 2010. They even made a special trip to Salt Lake to get all the ingredients. The price was right, and what a spread! The food and service were great. They catered to our large group's every need, and we were satisfactorily stuffed...

Breakfast on a budget- biggest virtue only place to eat at 7am-never had breakfast that served coffee- milk only-no half and half.
However we like to get going early, even 7 am is late for us.

Good trout, weird potatoes

We had dinner and breakfast here. For dinner, I ordered the trout. It was good, but the mashed potatoes were inedible. I don't know if they were from a package or not, but they had no flavor at all. The waitress said they didn't have baked potatoes, only mashed or fries. The salad bar had a good selection. My husband...

The food was just average diner food. The waitress was nice but looked like she was overworked as she was doing everything except the cooking. Even though it was just a few steps away from my room at the Prospector Inn, I would rather go to the Circle D Eatery.

Great burger

Stopped in Escalante for dinner and decided to eat at the Prospector restaurant. Had a bacon burger and it was very good. The service was good and a very friendly staff. Would recommend the burgers to my friends.
