I contacted Toms River Transmissions about this. Since I was not going to pay another 200+ in shipping to send back to them for inspection (which should of ever been in the first place), I spent 1700 for a well known local tranny shop to show me what Tom Rivers did not do. The first forward drum should have been replaced along with the planetary that was scored & shaving metal. Along side that...

Tom rivers scrued me and my family for a 1200 heavy duty tranny. After receiveing and installed professionally it grinded and was missing first gear! After tear apart of only 6 miles to dissapoint tom rivers transmissions of what the built.  I have documentation including pics to prove this (toms river transmissions) has no business selling anything over the internet let alone in JRs home town.

Very bad company. I talked directly with the owner of the company and he made me feel as if his company was very reputable and honest. When i called two weeks later to ask where my tracking number was, he stated that the transmission was lost in the shipping process, but stated that it was not his fault.
