We went to Primo because we read a lot of good reviews. We were very unhappy. When we walked in, they didn't seem very busy. While driving thru Washington, PA, on our way from FL to NY, Primo Restaurant was recommended to us after stopping at another Italian restaurant, & it was the best stop that we could've made! We had a wonderful, very positive experience here - extremely friendly & outgoing owners & wait staff that went out of their way to make sure that we had everything that we needed. The food was delicious also, & the service was exceptional, even though they were also attending to a party of about 40 people at the same time that we were there.

Granted it was a Thursday evening, but we thought it was a very pleasant atmosphere with efficient and friendly staff. Very good veal piccata.

We discovered this humble establishment while looking for another restaurant after 12 hours of tense driving on our way home from Florida.
