Made a run over the border for some New Glarus as this is the closest place to my house. Pretty small, but easy to find with the huge sign on the river. Not a large selection, but all varieties of New Glarus including the Thumbprint Series, Serendipity and Strawberry Rhubarb. Saw some Oskar Blues, Ale Asylum and a couple other craft brews. Place is tightly-spaced, dark, and not especially friendly.
The beer area seems like an add-on to the better-lit wine and liquor area. Some 6-packs in coolers, mostly big breweries. About average selection (for your run-of-the-mill liquor store).
They had some Founders, a medium selection of New Glarus, some Dogfish Head (sadly gone now).

Small place just over the MN border. It is located just of the main road and has ample free parking.
It is filled with old guard macros like Grain Belt, Blatz, and Schmidt but there is an okay selection of craft. Most of it is in coolers. There is also a large section of wines and spirits in the back of the store. The baskets are in the middle of the store instead of the front. There are very...

Price Rite looks like an old boat house from the outside, but inside an orderly and larger than average retail space awaits. Signage upon entry included large banners for the top national brands and smaller tackers for "Gusto" Schlitz and 'price-brands' produced by La Crosse City Brewery.
After considering the offerings at nearby retailers I can say that there's a better than average selection...
