Pravda was my choice because it was a modern, more contemporary venue than most in Seattle. Unfortunately, the customer service was average at best - I had to ask for clarification to questions constantly and did not always get a prompt response. We were really excited to have our wedding reception at Pravda - we had been to an event there and the space was exactly what we were looking for (high ceilings, industrial NY loft), and the original employees we met with were very responsive and professional. Pravda is a big open space...which meant we could do anything with it. It also means you have to do EVERything with it! They have rentals onsite for tables/chairs. They had tons of staff turnover while we were planning the wedding. This was the site that we looked at from the very beginning to have our reception. We were looking for a venue that allowed open catering. We knew that we didn't want your typical reception at a restaurant or fancy hotel. We wanted out guests to feel comfortable.

Reading these other reviews its obvious that Pravda has changed a lot within the last year or so. I did not experience any of the issues these previous reviewers did. Planning a wedding is stressful— sure— but I have to say that my wedding was one of the most pleasant (dare I say fun?) experiences I have ever had. Pravda is a huge reason for that.
