The Fitness Center features Cybex strength training equipment, saunas, a whirlpool, locker rooms. We're always happy to show you around! The indoor walking/jogging track is free! We have half-mile and three-quarter mile outdoor walking/jogging tracks.

As far as municipal recreation centers go, Prairie Lakes has nearly everything I want. I take my daughter here for park district classes, I've used the equipment in the workout room, and I run on the track pretty frequently in the icy winter months when running outside can be dangerous.
