Help us make it rightThe Powder Horn has closed down. I ate there one time shortly after they opened. The food was average, and the kitchen was a mess. I did not go back, although I did hear a lot of good comments about them.
Although the sandwiches here tasted good, I won't go back for two reasons. One, the restaurant's kitchen, which you can plainly see if you sit at the bar, was terribly dirty. Flying into the Eureka airport, we took the loaner car for a spin, and found this restaurant. It's located in a 100 year old hotel building. We both ordered sandwiches, which were very good. The owner was super friendly, and told us all about the town. I recommend the Powderhorn Cafe if you travel to Eureka.
This is an authentic Montana experience. The owners are talkative and entertaining. The sandwiches are great; try the powder horn.
