Went to a Potbelly shop for the first time today and it likely won't be the last! I happen to be pretty fussy about restaurant sandwiches - too many seem to be WAY overpriced for what you get. Stopped with my wife for lunch while attending the Great Lakes Folk Festival. We wanted to sit down in a cool room. We therefore passed on the concessions. The meat ball sandwiches were very good. The staff was helpful and friendly. Enjoyed our lunch.

I love the food there, unfortunately it is on a street with a lot of other good restaurants(all for. Casual lunch/lighter supper fare), so I don't eat there as often as I might otherwise. Tucked into a cozy streetcorner location on the Michigan State University campus is Potbelly's, a comfy looking restaurant with a friendly, hard-working staff and great looking sandwiches. When I arrived here, I wanted to like this restaurant , a lot! However, the quality just does not match the perception.
