There's "no jacket required" at this "enduring" "little watering hole" Downtown where "Washington Post employees go to drink" strong cocktails, beer and "surprisingly good" wine served by a "friendly" staff; yes, some pub crawlers find the tin-ceilinged, booze memorabilia–filled space "lacking" decorwise, but the good jukebox and "interesting customers" "make up for it."

It's a dive bar, in a good way. If offers dim lighting, very reasonably priced beers, and a variety of typical pub appetizers and meals. It's nothing fancy, but you don't come here for fancy....

There was a live roach in my colleague's food. The health department was alerted. I recommend going somewhere with better sanitary practices.
