This hopping "urban tavern" tantalizes diners with creative gastro-pub fare like truffled mushroom flatbread, grilled Atlantic swordfish, lemon-pepper roast chicken, and swoon-worthy cherry-chocolate cake. More than 200 wines, 12 beers on tap, and a host of craft cocktails give tipplers good reason to make frequent visits. The open kitchen, four-sided fireplace, and reasonable prices are...

The "loud scene" at this "high-end" American "memory maker" in the Back Bay is all about "businesspeople" and the "cougar crowd" soaking up "posh", "urban" surroundings – complete with multiple fireplaces and views through floor-to-ceiling windows – while chowing down on Eric Brennan's "innovative", slightly "expensive" comfort food that makes "excellent use of local suppliers" (especially on...

Post 390 Restaurant Review

Located on the edge of both the Back Bay and the South End, Post 390 has a view that offers glimpses of Trinity Church and the Hancock Tower. The restaurant’s interior is sleek and inviting with two floors of exposed brick and cozy fireplaces, not to mention an open kitchen. Chef Eric Brennan’s comfort cuisine ranges from grilled Atlantic swordfish with littleneck clams, fire-roasted peppers...

Respected restaurateur Kenneth Himmel has made his play at conquering the Back Bay foodie scene in the form of this two-floor behemoth. Three fireplaces, two open kitchens, soaring ceilings, and sweeping views of some nearby landmarks make this more than just your ho-hum dining experience. A wrought-iron staircase links buzzing first floor with the more dining-oriented top floor, where a...

Double-decker Back Bay cornerstone feeds with casual luxury.

Anchoring ""The Clarendon"" residential complex, this dual-level restaurant and bar evokes the cozy grandeur of Aspen while serving modern comfort food like fried Ipswich clams, house-smoked ribs...

My meal was delicious, but my boyfriends steak came out cold. If he is ordering a expensive steak, it should not come out cold.

We were placed at a quiet corner table downstairs. It was cozy- with a lovely fireplace on a cold winter night. Appreciated the quietness which was perfect for good conversation. Food was very good; service excellent

Went to this place with my girlfriend and I was so disappointed. The food was delicious. However, customers service and table were horrible. I could not enjoy my food because the table was shaking for the whole time.

Our first surprise despite a two week advance reservation for two couples was being seated at a table for six near the top of the stairs and the bar in a fairly empty restaurant . Upon asking for one of the many available tables for four we were told that those were reserved for couples ad that we could not be accommodated. Go figure.

Post 390 was fantastic! Everything from the cocktails, to the food, to the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I love that they use local ingredients in their dishes.
