THE WORST dining experience in my life !!!

On July 15th, 2014 I was there with four friends who were visiting from out of town. With out going into details, the service was rude and lacking, and the food was disgustingly poor. EVERY ONE at the table agreed. The menu prices reflect that of a first class steak house but the quality of the food was no better than a cheap chain steak joint AT BEST !!!!! It was horrid.
When the manager was requested, an assistant manager said that the manager was busy, but that he would adjust our bill to make us happy. All he did was remove one of the RETURNED entrees from the bill and since it was returned to the kitchen uneaten, it was NO benefit to us and it was assumed that it would be removed from the bill. The replacement entree was suppose to be DOUBLE CUT LAMB CHOPS. They were about 1/4 inch thick and overcooked beyond recognition. They were sent back as well.

There are half a dozen good steak and chop houses in Portland, THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM and should be avoided at all costs. Google the Taylor Hospitality Group, who owns this place and read about the lawsuits against the owner and then you can get an idea of what type of establishment this really is and his phone has been disconnected as well.

Fantastic steakhouse within our hotel. Great service from Robert. Filet mignon was cooked to perfection. Great cocktails too!

Fantastic steak house

This is a first class steak house. Great location and free valet parking. The wedge salad is the best in town. The prime rib is fantastic. The service is outstanding each time we go. I have never been disappointed in the place. Very good prices for steak compared to other steak houses.

Great Service -- And A Great Steak

This is the steakhouse in the Embassy Suites (the restored Hotel Multnomah) in Portland. The hotel is very nicely done, with historic lobby, etc.
To be honest, I had seen some so-so reviews of this restaurant, but since I was staying in the hotel, I decided to give it a go. Great choice!
Nice décor, right off the lobby. A...

Great Restaurant that would fit well in a Hilton or even Conrad

This restaurant features the big three culinary reasons to visit Portland: craft beers, check; Columbia River Valley Pinot Noir, check; river caught wild salmon, check. It also has great steak and salads. While the menu (and wine list) is not comprehensive, it is very competent. It's a high end steak house that sits somewhere above Ruth Chris. One of our...

Bad experience in the bar

We met friends in the bar at Portland Prime on a recent Friday evening and the service was horrible. It's always a bit harried in there at night, but this was around 10pm and although there was a live band, it really wasn't very busy.
The gentleman who served us seemed friendly enough, but would leave before we could finish...

Kincaid s chain has created an interpretation of the traditional fish, chop and steakhouse. For lunch, the restaurant offers pulled pork and chicken walnut salad sandwiches, soups, salads, chicken dishes and crab cakes. Its dinner menu contains appetizers, prime ribs, steak, poultry and seafood. Kincaid s also serves a variety of desserts, including key lime pie, cheesecake, chocolate cake, ice...

Recently purchased, closed, and renamed Kincaid's

Classic steakhouse style, with long black mica bar, surrounded by private, high-backed, maroon leather and mahogany booths. Top-line happy hour menu comes with on-point, affable service. Largely business-class crowd, but cheap-o prices draw all kinds. Grand lobby of the renowned former Hotel Multnomah (now Embassy Suites), adjoins.
