What the community has to say about Poquito Mas

Information about this business (1)

If you want Mexican food, but don't want to spend a lot, try this mini-chain with five locations throughout Los Angeles. This spot, just across from Universal Studios, is a great place to pick up amazing burritos, tacos, taquitos or just chips and salsa before the studio tour. Considered 'healthy food served fast', there's a choice of fish, chicken, beef or pork and they're all fantastic. A...

Editorial reviews from the web (2)

"Freshness rules" at this "relatively healthy" Mex – one of the "best of the gringo-burrito chains" – that also pleases with its "awesome" salsa bar and complimentary tortilla soup on rainy days; the "fast-food" settings are often crammed with "noisy kids", but it makes up for it with "quick" service and "terrific value."

Local fresh-Mex chain serves Baja-style food, with vegetarian and low-carb options.

The customer service is horrible. And so is the food. Over priced food with zero flavor. Definitely won't be going back.

What to Drink: Cool down with the refreshing traditional drinks of horchata (sweet rice-milk) or jamaica (think fruit-punch-meets-iced-tea).

Know Before You Go: For low-carb options, add steak or chicken to the Caesar salad and forego croutons, or try any one of the tostada salads without the shell.
