Decent venue for live bands, fair amount of seating, two outside smoking areas, two bars (if they open them both). I agree with Steve B who likened it to a "humongous unfinished frat basement."...

They hold the local sausage fest here from 3 to 8 a.m. every weekend. Other than that it is just your typical East St. Louis African American hangout.

The Event Staff is very rude. Waited two hours outside before the doors opened in order to get balcony seats. We found are seats and five minutes later were ran off by the event staff. They were very rude and told us the balcony was being closed for the night. Also the PA system is way to loud for such a small venue. I won t be back.

Basically just a place to go after all of the other bars close and you still feel like staying out longer. The place is dirty and it is overpriced. I've always had fun here, but you have to be careful too. Some of the staff are very picky and can make a big deal over little things, but when something more serious happens, they are no where to be found.

Both a nightclub and a concert venue, Pop's welcomes customers 24 hours all days of the week just east of the Mississippi River (about 2 minutes from downtown St. Louis). The nightclub features late-night DJs and cover bands, and the venue draws impressive performers.
