Pontevecchio Italian Bistro

From the start service was slow and inattentive. 3 out of 4 meals were fantastic, 1 inedible. When told, the owner/waiter was rude and insulting - something I've never experienced in a restaurant - like the Soup Nazi!

Candlelight flickers off toasted golden-brown walls, white linen envelops tables, and a faux balcony and shuttered windows create the illusion of sitting on a patio in Italy. Sicilian-influenced fare includes eggplant croquette with portobello mushrooms, calamari served kabob-style with peppers, and chicken topped with sweet almond cream. The dessert selection includes chocolate-hazelnut gelato.
