In a marked departure from its R Street neighbors, local artists showcase their own in one of the District's oldest cooperatives.

Known as the "Pink Lady," and originally built in 1912, The Beverly Hills Hotel underwent a two-and-a-half-year, multi-million dollar renovation in 1995, and another in 2012. The hotel re-opened swankier, bigger, and with more attitude than ever. This legendary hotel remains a magnet for Hollywood's elite and rising stars, having played host to everyone from Elizabeth Taylor to John Lennon...

The grand dame that is more Dame Elizabeth Taylor than Miley Cyrus

The Beverly Hills Hotel is a Mobil five star and Triple A five diamond hotel. It is a world class place but not for everyone. I would prefer a larger bathroom, tourist-free and more personal touches that I find with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts Worldwide (I have no financial or personal interest in Four Seasons) but my name may not appear in the "list" yet everyone whom is paying the price is to be treated as a VIP and I need just as much care as the aging Burt Reynolds whom had only one drink there but wanted to feel famous.

Remarkably still at the top of her game, the "Pink Palace" continues to attract Hollywood's elite after 100 years. Celebrity guests favor the private bungalows; most others come for the "royal" treatment by staff and the chance to dress up and play the part of celebrity. Recently upgraded standard rooms are also nothing to sneeze at, with original artwork, butler service, custom-made linens and...

The Polo Lounge Restaurant Review

Since its 1941 opening, the Polo Lounge at The Beverly Hills Hotel has been a favorite celebrity dining destination, and is probably the only restaurant in Beverly Hills that has earned so many glamorous adjectives for so long: legendary, elegant, classic and stylish. The Pink Lady's restaurant has welcomed the very famous and powerful, the famous and less famous at the bar, in the flowered...

The Beverly Hills Hotel & Bungalows Review

Despite its great age, the "Pink Palace" is more alluring than ever, with its coral-pink façade, signature banana-leaf wallpaper and twelve lush acres of tropical gardens. Managed by the Dorchester Collection, the hotel features 208 luxurious rooms and suites that include 21 one-of-a-kind private bungalows. The four-bedroom Presidential Bungalow offers a private lap pool and Jacuzzi. Designed...

"Quintessential Beverly Hills", this art deco "landmark" provides "perfect" celeb-watching in a "classy", "old-style" setting that "makes you want to dress up and be pampered"; the Cal-Continental cuisine is "predictable, but well prepared" and "served with the highest level of professionalism", so even though it's "expensive, expensive, expensive", "who can resist?"; P.S. "the patio is a...

The legendary "Pink Palace" opened in 1912, and the city of Beverly Hills literally grew around it. Today, the landmark Spanish Colonial building, still painted a garish Pepto-Bismol pink, sits on 12 acres of landscaped grounds filled with palms, banana plants, azaleas, and bougainvillea. Discreetly dotted about are the bungalows where stars like Elizabeth Taylor have from time to time taken up...

Came here for brunch and the food is okay. I had an omelette. They used all egg whites. I prefer regular eggs. They didn't give me the option. I didn't complain. My friends ordered the lobster...

I held this to a high standard considering its price and prestige, but the Polo Lounge fell short. Aaah!! Six of us came in at 8:30 with reservations on a Wednesday night, and were seated quickly...

I ran into this restaurant through social media. I thought it'd be a great place to eat and take good pictures of the decor. I didn't prepare my outfit ahead of time, so I'll definitely have to go...
