I have lived in Ft Worth over 30 years and had no idea this restaurant was here. It's on Bomber Road, a reference to the nearby air force base and Lockheed plant. When you get to the end of the road, there's the restaurant, overlooking Lake Worth.
The menu is mostly burgers, sandwiches and fried catfish. The food was good...

Great hole in the wall atmosphere, perfect for a lake day. Great views of the lake, horse shoes, boat dock you can tie up to, cold beer and good food. Chicken fried steak and fried chicken...

My chicken fried steak lunch special ($6.95!) was a hefty helping and reeeeally good--and I'm picky about my chicken fried steak.If you like fried okra, theirs is better than most: fresh and crunchy and not too salty. Not Gourmet But Good. We like out-of-the-way local places and have been meaning to try this place out. It reminded me of places I used to go to on the Gulf Coast in Florida in the 60's. The food's sort of like that too. It's not gourmet, but my wife says the catfish was good and I enjoyed my grilled tilapia. Vegetables were a little overcooked but still edible. Stopped in for lunch while I had my boat out on Lake Worth. Service was fast and on their game. The food was pretty good. I had the catfish Po Boy it was better than expected. The boat dock and steps leading up to the restaurant were in need of some repair.Other than that, i'd say if you are in the area or on the water stop in for lunch and a few cold ones.
