Was a 4 rating a year ago but I'm down grading them to a 3.4 due to today's experience and the fact 70% of the beer is expired. When I was checking out and making small talk with the main guy over everything; he asks, "Have you had Pirate Bomb?" I said no do you have any, "Yeah its in the back but you cant have any because I don't have enough to sell. I only have two cases" Now I'm thinking why...

Lots of IPA's are way out of date , some over a year , hardly any prices on most of the beer , if you want to know you have to carry a bottle up front and have them ring it up to tell you , I asked a guy the other day how much something was he said he didn't know and he didn't have time to look so I just left , really sad to see this store heading in the wrong direction

If you live in Jonesboro, this is the closest spot to get reliably good beer. Trumann and Paragould tend to have better prices on liquor and wine, but if you want selection, this is your place. You can find stuff from Prairie, Green Flash, Stone, New Belgium, Choc... I could go on, but with this list alone PPS has 1000x the selection of the other stores in the area. And they keep the selection...

This place and Country Liquor Store are a ½ mile apart, and are Jonesboro's destination for beer. Good selection of brews from Boulevard, Sierra Nevada, and New Belgium. Decent selection from Abita, Sam Adams, Flying Dog, Spanish Peaks, Pyramid, Shiner, and Breckenridge. Often have a few larger bottles around, including Rogue, Belgians, and miscellaneous imports.
