I recently attended a weekend workshop a block away from this place and I ate here three times, twice for lunch and once for dinner. Fine --will come back and review this more fully. Plearn has been around for ages but many other places have eclipsed this place for overall flavor and freshness, I'm afraid

I really enjoy eating at Plearn Thai. It's service is
very good (except when it comes time to give you the bill).
The only thing that bothers me about Plearn is their
inconsistent 'hot' level on the soup. I have ordered the
same soup on different days and received anything from

Reportedly the BEST Thai food in Northern California. I
don't know if this is true (this came from a friend of mine
who was the president of the Thai Association - so I guess
she should know). But I must admit that the food was
excellent and the best Thai food I've had so far in my
life. Atmosphere was quite nice and modern but service
left some to be desired. The waitpersons didn't speak...

Plearn is getting old and in need of a makeover. The
lighting is too dim, the hard plastic tabletop protectors
have fogged and the walls seem worn. The food is still
pretty good although not exceptional.

If you go to Plearn Thai Cuisine, you`ll find a restaurant that concentrates on Thai dishes.

Atmosphere: Table talk is no problem here - noise level is unobtrusive.

Eating & Drinking: Open for lunch and dinner.

Notable Mention: Being a good value for your dollar.
