Help us make it rightI brought my drapes in to be cleaned. . I was given a ticket with a price and a date to pick up. I went on wed, sept 4th to pick them up which was the day printed on the ticket. I was told that they weren't ready due to the labor day holiday. I was disappointed but went on my way since he told me they were being worked on at the moment. I went back today, wasting more gas all for the owner to blast me when I walked in the door!! He said "my girl make mistake" "that not price...come on you have to know that ridiculous!!" He proceeded to tell me he never touched the curtains If i want to take them elsewhere!! Even though I was having friends over this weekend, I would rather go curtainless than give him a dime!! I would like to know how he was working on them the day before if they were never touched?? I also said that is why you have my phone number on the ticket and he said he called me....no message on phone....go figure!!!!
The store owner is an unprofessional, arrogant person who has no business being in business!I took a dress in to be altered. The clerk quoted a price, took the item, and promised it for a specific day. The next day my daughter went in to get fitted again, this time with the owner, who now gave her a price of $35 more. When I called to question the more than doubled cost, he didnt kindly expain anything,rather said, "Oh my God, why you come here? Why you dont take it to someone else? She needs(blal blah blah)done to make it look right. If you dont like it then take it back." I simply questioned the huge price increase and expected a professional, courteous reply, not the attitude and tone that I got from him. I certainly didnt expect a business owner to tell me to take my business elsewhere because I simply questioned a change in the orignal agreement. This is where I should have listened. Instead, I agreed to the new alterations and the new price. When I went to pick up the dress the day before prom, it wasnt done as agreed. He only hemmed it and didnt bother to do the other alterations, making the dress unwearable. The clerk called him on the phone to say it needed fixing right away.He said he couldnt do anything about it. I refused to pay for the lousy job he did do and had to take it to another tailor who had to redo his crooked work, as well as the changes that HE originally insisted on doing yet decided not to w/o giving me an option to take it elsewhere. UNPROFESSIONAL!
